[Bug] Preferences window is completely missing
« on: August 17, 2026, 05:34:51 PM »
As in screenshot, Preferences window appears as a floating bar with no panels or details at all. This occurs when opening Preferences either via File>Preferences or the Ctrl+P shortcut.

Click on the bottom edge of the window & drag downwards to expand the window. None of this should even be happening as there's a designated minimum window height which I've seen WINE get wrong at times & there's checks in place when it's opened to try to get it to revert to a default window height if what was stored is deemed to be invalid but that's either not working for you or something else is messing with the window handling that I'm not seeing from any of my current dev installs.

If you'd minimised it & then closed it &/or wacup in general then that's the only way I can replicate the prefs window loading with the wrong height applied to it.

Ah nice, that fixed it. I thought I had tried that but it's a pretty precise click so I must have just missed it. I have no idea what caused this but I do move WACUP around across multiple monitors regularly enough so maybe something to do with that?

Thanks for the help as always :)
