[BUG] Monitor disconnects break window positions
« on: April 02, 2026, 08:14:30 AM »
Hi, I have a display setup where I have a 4k tv, 2k monitor and 1080p. Ive have an issue with Win10 where a display disconnecting would break the layout of a lot of open windows (probably from the differing resolutions)

I don't think there's a way to fix that problem as far as I can find, so I just have to deal with it

But the main issue in WACUPs case is that it will completely wreck whatever setup I have with each WACUP window, it'll just turn it into a jumbled mess, even if I have lock window positions enabled on the skin

Not sure if much can be done about that but has been a nuisance lol

I cannot view imgur links so you need to attach it as I can't tell what skin you're trying to use (if it's a modern skin then there's bugger all I can do, if it's a classic skin there were some changes in 23960 that were an attempt to help if freeze was enabled but there's a point at which the OS especially if it's Win11 tries to "help" to keep windows not being off-screen).
