Is there a way to add a custom URL for internet radio?
« on: August 11, 2024, 07:56:37 PM »
Hello! I have this website that streams music (https://lapfoxradio.com/), this website contains links to where I can listen to raw audio streams, this one for example: (https://radio.lapfoxradio.com/radio/8000/stream-flac.flac). Is there a way that I can listen to that radio but from the WACUP app? Thanks in advance  :)

FLAC streams aren't something that WACUP currently supports. The MP3 & Ogg Vorbis streams should be able to played. Either drag+dropping the playlist link from the server or using the add -> add/open url dialog from the main playlist will allow you to get them into the main playlist to then be able to play them.

However something seems to be badly configured with that Icecast server as the m3u links are giving back invalid stream urls (referring to localhost instead of the expected server / web address). The xspf links seem to be ok & looks like there's a bug in my xspf file handling which is causing it to incorrectly assume the items are files & is changing the / to \ in the urls which breaks them (will get that fixed for the next build).
