Hello,
I'm enjoying Wacup almost just as i did with my old Winamp, except for 1 pretty annoying bug:
I used to launch Winamp by selecting multiple MP3 files in a music folder and pressing Enter key. This would launch 1 single Winamp instance, with the last selected file as the first of the playlist, and all the other selected files queued in the playlist.

Now with Wacup, I've tried every options (including of courses the multiple instances etc.), but i still get the same bug:
when i select multiple files in a folder (say 5 tracks: #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 ; #5 being the last selected) and hit Enter, it opens 2 instances of Wacup:

First instance is playing #1 with nothing else in the playlist.
Second instance (on top of the first one) is playing #2 with #3 and #4 in the playlist.
#5 is not appearing in any instance.

Any idea of what's going on here ? Did i mss something in the options ?
I'm on Windows11 Pro N 22H2, Wacup v1.99.36.22278 (x86).

Thanks

dro

The default handling is to try to keep it all to just one instance but there's things that seem to happen which aren't under my control that break it from using modern skins & it taking too long for the process to complete loading which can cause the handling to deem there not to be another instance to Explorer seemingly triggering things in a manner that just doesn't make sense causing it to spawn multiple instances. I don't have a solution as I can't ever replicate this failing consistently & what I think might be more likely to help (an explorer shell extension) isn't something I've actively looked into trying to implement nor how that'd even work without it being something I'd ever get code-signed. I also don't get why I have the issue when Winamp didn't when my start-up is generally faster unless I'm just missing something which it was able to do for better handling multiple instances which is why my implementation currently seems to just suck.
