Added an option to the Streaming Source plug-in to allow for 'streamurl' to attempt to be sent to the connected server (e.g. to enter playingart?sid=1) for those wanting to provide something which can potentially be used for now playing or station branding artwork (this is primarily only going to work with SCv2 DNAS connections as SCv1 & Icecast don't really support handling such a parameter)
Added support under Win7 for the listview & treeview (i.e. navigation tree) controls in the media library to react to the mouse wheel being changed when over them to better match what those controls natively support under newer versions of Windows (this is not quite the same at the moment & the media library window needs to be focused for the change to be seen unlike under newer Windows where it doesn't have that stipulation & that is something I've still to look into but this change should hopefully be enough for most normal usage)
Changed the order artwork for internet radio streams is checked for to now consistently prefer what might be provided by the stream (e.g. as seen via the live 'streamurl' metadata) before using other options
Changed a few more things internally to avoid working out the length of strings when it can be obtained from prior processing for a small performance improvement (e.g. when parsing all of the library db)
Changed how yt-dlp is handled to now use what was previously being used for Win7 installs to now be used on Win8.x installs since the current primary update as of Oct 26 2026 is now only supporting Win10/11
Changed some of the local library internals in preparation for importing from a CSV file (this is not finished off so is not enabled & was mainly to help assess which CSV parser library was to be used)
Changed how the padding & sizing of the skinned buttons is determined which is mainly to help resolve an issue reported under Win7 at 100% OS text scaling with the buttons being too large due to how the padding was being determined (this will also have an effect on newer versions of Windows but hopefully will be more 'winamp' like in the appearance as seems to be concensus on what's expected to be seen)
Changed the internal method for getting the file size to use a slightly quicker method with it using the older way if that fails (nothing should appear to be different & makes things simpler internally)
Changed some of the podcast handling to try to reduce the scope of the locking being used along with how old vs new items are checked which should reduce some contention & the time to do it on large feeds
Fixed a slew of issues when playing an internet radio stream & a streamurl which indicates artwork can be obtained which wasn't working consistently from multiple download requests to breaking the local cached copy or just not reporting back the expected artwork data when the raw data artwork api was being used (as the Stream Source plug-in uses) which should improve re-streaming an existing stream as well as title updates being incorrectly triggered when the stream is in the '[connecting]' title state which the likes of the SCv2 DNAS will block but can cause other issues if artwork is still being sent
Fixed some AAC based internet radio streams not playing at the correct speed due to the server indicating a channel count but the audio data stream not always matching that with the initial data received
Fixed some internet radio streams unexpectedly halting playback when the second in-stream metadata block is meant to have been received but the stream read offset wasn't being determined correctly
Fixed a hang on close from some of the media library views incorrectly trying to update the last selection within the view when that's not something that's meant to be happening
Fixed a regression with the artwork loading in the prior build which could cause it to attempt to read the whole of the media file instead of it being limited to just the associated artwork file
Fixed a regression from the prior build where the in_wave input plug-in was not passing the correct number of channels when forced mono playback mode is enabled
Fixed mono FLAC files not playing correctly when the allow surround playback option is off due to a logic bug causing it to treat things as stereo despite the file reporting itself as being mono
Fixed the header line for the export local library option not being obtained as expected on the second call due to how things were being cached but it wasn't caching all of the information needed
Fixed getting the title from a playing internet radio stream when it's in the 'artist - title' format not always stripping the whitespace from the extracted title part of the string
Fixed a crash seen when trying to request metadata for more than the allowed number of audio CD tracks
Fixed some atf methods not handling negative input values correctly which could cause an endless loop
Fixed the auto config mode of the Streaming Source plug-in not always sending the title information on the correct port
Fixed how libvgm is built to resolve some files using the newer gameboy core not playing as expected
Fixed some more potential problems with the initial crash reporter handling in low memory scenarios
Fixed the hotkey prefs page being slower to load then expected & it doing more processing of the hotkey shown in the edit control than was needed
Fixed the pledit.bmp (or pledit.png) from the root of a modern skin folder / archive not being used if gen_ff is not providing a bitmap to use for the playlist window along with it not reverting to the default skin's image file which was causing the main playlist editor to not show anything under some modern skins (this was mostly an unexpected side-effect of a fix in the prior build for the Drone skin but it appears I wasn't loading that image correctly which was causing the affected skins in prior builds to effectively have a black & white look to the main playlist editor window text due to how the drawing vs needing a valid bitmap image wasn't being met)
Fixed a crash (only seen with one user) & a small performance issue seen when processing the modern skin colour theme entries into the main right-click menu items
Removed the option on the Appearance preference page to ignore the OS dpi settings for the padding around the likes of the skinned buttons as it didn't help with the issue it was added to investigate
Other small miscellaneous changes, internal code clean-up such as that related to the dpi handling during media library view resizing & partial supporting library updates to attempt to resolve issues
