Hi
I cannot send song to my library.
I use 1.0.13.5864 jul 23 2020 version
I use right click / send to library to import song to library. I don't scan folder automaticaly. and i don't set a folder to indicate the location of my song.
I tried also send to local library but nothing happend.
I tryed to set a location in library preference but nothing happend.
I can't see the new song in the library.
However I can send a song to a playlist.
Songs are well imported when i set a location and let wacup scan folder. But it's not my way.
Do you have a solution for this. please.

Are you sure the file was not added? Did you refresh the library view? Sometimes the result of an action doesn't appear until the associated view is refreshed.
What UI skin are you using? My skins Send to: context menu has an "Add to Library" command, but they don't have an "Add to Local Library" command.

As this is very likely due to using the local library plug-in from 5.666 (ml_local), it doesn't live update it's views when new media is added (the replacement plug-in (ml_ll) does a better job but can still fail with the existing preview/beta versions with changes made a few weeks back to hopefully improve it if the file hasn't been seen by the local library before).
Due to the age of the build & that I'm trying to get a new one finished off, this will need to be re-checked once a new build is released. In the meanwhile, F8 when a local library view is active can be used to try & live refresh the view however I'm not actively investigating issues related to ml_local as it's got no future with WACUP once ml_ll is finished.

F8 is to clear the filter for searching.
I will try to mix the plug-in file from winamp and wacup to found a solution.
If i can inprove this i will poste something

Nope, F8 in a local library view will trigger a view refresh as that's what I'd implemented in the 5.66x build. As I couldn't use the preferred F5 since that'd conflict with the global skin refresh option.

That is more likely to cause other issues as WACUP is built around an assumption of specific plug-in versions being present.
You'd be better off trying to use the replacement which can be easily toggled between via the 'local library' preference page.

I'm still using the old library plug-in (ml_local.dll) because the new one doesn't support the features I like to use yet. Maybe this issue is because mts has both the old and new library plug-in (ml_ll.dll) active (i.e. loaded) according to his screenshot above.
My use of the old library plug-in is probably why I don't see the Send to: "Add to Local Library" command.

Ergh I'd missed that. Yes having both running (which isn't even meant to be possible) would most likely explain the issues as they've both going to be conflicting / trying to handle the same actions - so probably files are being added but going to the 'wrong' instance.
So either ml_local or ml_ll needs to be enabled & the other one needs to be disabled - I'd use the toggle option on the 'local library' prefs page to ensure it's done correctly.

BUT il lost all my library.
18000 song. ARGH
I will manage
Hi I'm using WACUP from today.
Wacup crash when i rate songs.
Only rating from library is working. From what's playing, or play list Wacup crash.
I try when song is playing and paused.
I activated some plugin present in prebuild, inactivate by default. Perhaps that's the reason.
It's the same with MP3 or OGG
MTS
I'm not so disapointed because i will regain the possibility to rate again from play list and what's playing.
I'll see if using this plug-in is better.
Thanks !!

Your existing library is still there. The ml_ll plug-in uses it's own separate database & on new installs it will offer to import from the ml_local database if one exists. However as you've managed to get both plug-ins enabled at the same time, if you switch back to the legacy ml_local plug-in then it should all be there.
The newer builds of ml_ll than what you're currently using have the ability to import the ml_local database from any compatible install which would allow you to re-import what you had already created (for which I'm trying to get a new beta build released so I can start accepting new beta testers).
