I have many soundtracks and compilation albums that I have added to the Media Library in WACUP.
However, on the top right of the Media Library, there is an album entry for basically every song in the album.
For example, there are 22 songs on the 8 Mile soundtrack. 5 of them are by Eminem, 3 by 50 Cent, 2 by Obie Trice and the other artists have one song. This means there are 12 album entries in the Media Library.
Compilation albums are even worse, as a 52-track compilation usually has 52 seperate entries.
Any idea how I can solve this issue?

There's an option on the local library preferences (view settings sub tab if memory serves me correctly) to change the album grouping mode applied which needs to be toggled to hopefully get what you're expecting vs how you've tagged them (am not near a pc to find the exact preference option to but it's do with the use of album artist for the grouping iirc).

Found it!
Preferences > Media Library > Local Library > View Filters tab > Turn off the option for 'Use Album Artist when grouping the Album & Album Art filter results'
Thank you for your guidance.
