No & I don't know what sort of widget you're referring to.

I suppose it would be a mini desktop interface along the lines of those small web players I come across. Something perhaps as per attached image. A toggle between a mini version (optimally user-controlled resizeable) of the main window and the full-blown multi-window (main/eq/album art/medialib etc.) would work for me.

I just thought of another path if this is not workable. I'm thinking two separate WACUP installs. One with the multi-window config and another of just the main window with each having their own shortcut icon. Of course it would mean always updating both when a new release is available but that is fine with me. Your thoughts appreciated. -thx

Some of the modern skins already offer a mini mode so maybe that'd be the simpler option to look into. I don't have any intent to do so for the native / classic skin handling as I don't see much point when the taskbar preview is seemingly close to the request anyway as I follow it.

Thank you - should I have any concerns with my double install option?

If you install into different program folder or distinct portable install modes then there's no connect. If you install both x86 & x64 using the default install path then they will share the same settings folder since it's based on the program files install folder name & running both at the same time could cause settings corruptions. There's also the duplicated settings from using the multi-instance mode or you could also have one program install & use the config override options from the command-line to make different settings folders even with the same single main program install at which point it's likely more complicated than you want to manage & just using the default install & then a different normal install folder path will suffice. tl;dr: yes/no/maybe depending on how you want to do things.

I'm such a hammerhead - I have not used my portable for some time and totally overlooked this option. That's my ticket, thx man!
