Latest restricted WACUP beta release is build #18916 (April 18th 2024) (x86 & x64 changelogs) | Latest WACUP public preview is build #18916 (April 18th 2024) (x86 only)

NOTE: Beta testers are added in a limited & subjective manner as I can only support so many people as part of the beta test program to keep it useful for my needs.

Unless I think you're going to be helpful, not all requests will be accepted but might still be later on. Remember that beta testing is to help me & the limitations currently works for my needs for this project.

Were you suspending the system? If not I'm confused by what you're trying to describe.

Perhaps I should have made it a new post as I re-consider the relevance to this initial topic. Too late now, sorry ...Here is what I posted "

Anyways, all is good now, my apologies

I have not exited it in weeks. An exit and a fresh open seems to have solved it. Thank you.

I know not what I did.

Originally, my scenario was to minimize WACUP to the taskbar prior to shutdown and it would be in this minimized state after power-up.

NOW, for reasons I cannot understand/fix, WACUP is appearing full screen (non-minimized) after power-up.

Help!

No, you're correct.
Only beta testers get access to the beta builds (for obvious reasons), ...
The reasons are not 'obvious' to me. Enlighten me please.

A long time ago I was a beta-tester. My usage of the betas, founded on my needs, revealed no significant issues. I therefore withdrew as I was not contributing to the trouble-analysis efforts. I regret this now as I no longer have access to the improvements provided by the betas.

thx for reply. actually, I have never known if 'Winamp' stood for something specific. I simply went strolling thru life thinking it stood for 'WINdowsAMPlifier', but this can't be right (or is it?).

as the goal of the project (my take, correct if I wrong) is to go without the winamp core will the app be re-christened?

.... Like you say it's not a showstopper so it'll likely stay like it is for the time being :)

... not to mention that I now prefer it this way (and would likely take issue if it changed!) -  8)

yes, as I now have a larger monitor, I failed to mention I do use the Classic skin at double-size.

Anyways, welcome back Darren. I do hope your absence was for a well-deserved R & R. If not, well, hope all is well none the less.

Thank you for the reply - Not a showstopper and, upon reflection, I prefer the different appearance as it readily lets me know that a cd is playing. Also, the appearance of streaming content produces a yet 3rd different appearance and is acceptable now as well as I then know it is a url playback stream.
