Latest WACUP public preview for x86 & x64 is build #20202 (September 28th 2024) (x86 & x64 changelogs)
Latest restricted WACUP beta release is build #20202 (September 28th 2024) (x86 & x64 changelogs)

NOTE: Beta testers are added in a limited & subjective manner as I can only support so many people as part of the beta test program to keep it useful for my needs.

Unless I think you're going to be helpful, not all requests will be accepted but might still be later on. Remember that beta testing is to help me & the limitations currently works for my needs for this project.

Implemented Requests / Playlists Node - Zero Pad Item Numbers
« on: August 03, 2018, 05:32:31 PM »
I wish that the Playlists node would follow the behavior of the selection of Zero Pad Item Numbers.
This works great for the playlist and it would be nice if the functionality could be extended to the Playlists Titles also.
Even if you look at the .m3u in notepad, the track numbers are zero padded.

Thank You

You might want to keep this in mind.

Merry Christmas and Happy holidays.

Skins / Playlist Tab
« on: October 20, 2017, 06:16:50 PM »
I do not know if this is a skin issue or an issue of the limitations of the modern skin engine
If you choose the "Show Playlist Tab" Option in the Appearances preference section and then click on the Playlist tab it brings your playlist into the full view.
However, when you click on the Media Library tab again, the playlist does not appear on the side again.
You have to pull the playlist back open.
It would be great if the tabs remembered their settings so that when you clicked on the Media Library again, the playlist would appear on the right again.
Maybe a way to choose how that behaves because I can see how both ways would be preferable to different people.
Please let me know if this does not make sense.

I saw this and thought of DrO. I hope it made you laugh.

In playing with new skins and color themes, I am proposing a change to the menu structure. This may or may not be a good idea so please let me know what you think.
It seems like the Color Themes option should be under the skins option because it changes the colors of the skins being used. It can be moved from it's current location or just added to the new location

Currently you can change the color themes of the skins by going to
Right Click > Options > Color Themes

The new proposed change would be to put color themes under the skins menu. It would look like this.
Right Click > Skins
You have the options of:
    Skin Browser
    << Get More Skins >>
--------------------------------
    Classic
    Modern
    cPro
--------------------------------
    Color Themes

Happy Boxing Day.
While not a day we celebrate in the United States, it seems to be popular everywhere else.
I hope everyone's Christmas and Holidays went well and everyone is ready for the New Year.
Be safe out there as this is usually the most difficult time of the year for many reasons.
Love, peace and chicken grease.

Preferences > 'Media Library' node > 'Tree Options' tab

The Download Items section should be moved on to the Podcasts node. It just seems to make sense there right below the Podcast View Layout box. That way it is easy to find when people are configuring how they want their podcast node to be displayed, they can choose whether they want the downloads tree to appear under it or separate and if they want to keep it visible.

Also on the same page, CD/DVD Items should be moved to the CD Ripping page. I am just not sure which tab it would fit on. However, if you are planning to redo in_cdda anyway, then the preferences could be reworked and that can be incorporated somewhere.

Please let me know if you want or need mock ups or screenshots.

Wishlist / Feature Requests / WiFi Sync to Android Phone
« on: December 06, 2016, 08:53:03 PM »
I know that WiFi sync to Android is already there. But maybe one of these days you can take a look at it and make it work more reliably.
No rush, but this is the wishlist, so I am wishing.  :)

Archive / Happy Thanksgiving!
« on: November 24, 2016, 02:40:09 AM »
I know that there are a good number of people outside of North America that are following the development of WACUP, so you might not know what Thanksgiving is. It is a Holiday where we give thanks for all of the family, people and things that have made our year special. So I wanted to wish everyone reading this a Happy Thanksgiving and tell you all that I am thankful to Darren for devoting his time and effort into WACUP and all of you for taking the time to make suggestions and test and make WACUP the best it can be.

All the best!
