Playlist transfer between devices?

Is there a plugin that would support playlist transfers from different devices, say an IPOD to a USB stick?

There's been a few over the years that do file transfers to differing levels of success but playlist transfers is generally not done or it work right like the 5.666 portables support has real issues with playlists & that's without it not supporting ipods beyond a certain generation. Unless I'm not quite following the question.
