Latest WACUP public preview for x86 & x64 is build #21136 (March 9th 2025) (x86 & x64 changelogs)
Latest restricted WACUP beta release is build #21136 (March 9th 2025) (x86 & x64 changelogs)

NOTE: Beta testers are added in a limited & subjective manner as I can only support so many people as part of the beta test program to keep it useful for my needs.

Unless I think you're going to be helpful, not all requests will be accepted but might still be later on. Remember that beta testing is to help me & the limitations currently works for my needs for this project.

General Discussion / UPnP/DLNA Renderer Possibilities
« on: July 08, 2021, 06:06:05 PM »
I have a somewhat convoluted small-radio-station type setup where I'm using Logitech Media Server's amazing Spicefly Sugarcube, which I have been passing to Foobar2k via bridge to use the Sqrsoft crossfader meant for that player. However, I discovered that that version won't fade tracks less than 12 seconds, which matters for the content I have.

On a whim today I found an old CD from 20 years ago with Winamp 2.78, which also had Sqrsoft 1.4 and 1.6 - and those will fade more or less perfectly.

Except I have no way that I can find to bridge the LMS output to Winamp - the various UPnP/DLNA plug-ins don't really do what I need, which is just to allow LMS to pass tracks directly into the play queue and use Winamp as the player.

Is there a way to do this, or is this a possibility with WACUP? I haven't been able to get the vintage Sqrsoft plug-ins to work with WACUP yet (they're running fine with the latest Winamp) but since I see others using them I'm presuming it can be done.

Any thoughts are appreciated!
