Cooool, these observations come in handy =)
The best would be if waveform seeker looks like in AIMP (http://www.meggamusic.co.uk/shup/1506521149/AIMP.png) - in progress bar.
Sort of the idea on my mockup.. is it? Or you mean with the seeker below playback buttons?
1. Is it possible to change the following behavior of the skin:
- When I click Next or Previous button the "Next Track" or "Previous Track" is displayed on Song Title area -> http://www.meggamusic.co.uk/shup/1506521406/Next_Previous.png
It is displayed about 3 seconds... in this time I don't see the song title (ATF string) - it is not good... if i click Next/Next I want to see a song title... instead I have to wait 3 seconds to see a title...
Maybe this info (Next Track) could be displayed on other field? or <1s?
Yeah, it's annoying, I have planned to directly removed that info (is pointless in my opinion) and also the "Stop playback" that's triggered when playback is already stop (i.e. it shows with the hit of the button, no matter if the music is playing or not). I'll do all these while trying to clear up a bit more the display area, which also shows un-timed info like "Prog button set to..."when showing Muti-tools panel.
2. In mopst time I use Winamp with your skin docked to the top of my screen (hidden). When I move mouse it shows up (Windows Settings/Docked Toolbar/Top+AutoHide)
Sometimes, when the window is showing the part of skin is "not refreshed".
Cool, I've seen this happen but couldn't reproduce it, will check it out, I think I know what's happening there..
3. Last image shows next problem: http://www.meggamusic.co.uk/shup/1506522158/OK.png
"KBPS" is cutted... 44KH -> shouldn't it be 44.1 KHz?
I think "44" is used as abreviation, just for the sake of simplicity. Is like that on the original Bento too. The cut out text is because how constrained is the space for each data box. Some more air in there won't hurt (after all, is a small area even when all data is shown). Adding it to my to do list!
Ps: The problem with fonts and Polish characters is solved (I replaced the font by another one that shows beautiful Polish characters).
Good, because I haven't found many fonts fulfilling what Winamp needs (stated before). I'll keep looking though.
