drag+drop plugin hasnt worked for years. if you have one that does, please let me know

i just realized this would be nearly impossible as many results belong in several smart view rules simultaneously.... unless there was some sort of order of priority for color coding, say, a 1-8 importance rating

ideally a smart view would include the color option, so the color would be displayed right there in the smart view tree.
i know this probably isnt practical for people with lots and lots of smart views (artists/genres/year etc) but if you use smart views to sort stuff by source, format, function or sorted/unsorted, especially if each of these smart views has several sub-views, color coding a search would be truly indispensable.

just a basic cycle through available directsound devices would be more than enough... a special choice of cyclable devices would be even more awesome (then a change notification wouldnt be needed) or even an alt+shft+1...5 for number of device. whatever is easiest really.
notification could be in the scrollable song title field/taskbar for example. no need for new interface elements.

expansion of the option to library playlists and the media library itself would be truly spectacular.

many apps that work with lots of media files have this option. Final Cut Pro 7 probably has the best one, but so do Adobe Premiere and Ableton Live.
whats crucial are several features:
1. option to show only the missing file in question while browsing the "locate files on disk" dialog
2. option to automatically search for other missing files in that same folder
3. option to retain the same relative folder structure while searching automatically (for when a big folder with many subfolders changes location)
these three things in conjunction can fix complicated playlists in just a few clicks.
i can provide screenshots for useful ideas.
there is an external tool called ListFix that is some help, but a proper integrated feature would be awesome.

been asking for the elusive Joonas's EXPLORER CONTEXT MENU and DRAG+DROP FROM PLAYLIST EDITOR plugins to come back ever since they stopped working. i find myself constantly doing Ctrl+F and opening dozens of explorer windows.
if explorer context menu option seems too bulky, maybe it can be editable? drag+drop (using ctrl+shft) was absolutely indispensible.
