Latest WACUP public preview for x86 & x64 is build #20202 (September 28th 2024) (x86 & x64 changelogs)
Latest restricted WACUP beta release is build #20202 (September 28th 2024) (x86 & x64 changelogs)

NOTE: Beta testers are added in a limited & subjective manner as I can only support so many people as part of the beta test program to keep it useful for my needs.

Unless I think you're going to be helpful, not all requests will be accepted but might still be later on. Remember that beta testing is to help me & the limitations currently works for my needs for this project.

Bug in WACUP_Preview_v1_99_16_19516.exe
« on: August 07, 2024, 08:30:57 AM »
Hi

Played a bit with it (Windows 10) and found this :

When I open File Info > Artwork > Paste From Clipboard, the program crash, without any message...
Tried differents mp3 file and differents covers
This is important to me so I reverted to 1.0.21.7236....

Also found that the Global Hotkeys work randomly (at least with the "Show notification")

And still hope to see :
A way to restart the song at 0:00
The display of Track/Total Tracks

Thanks for you continuous work :)

If it's crashing, either follow the steps from Preferences -> Advanced -> Error Reporting -> procdump section or run wacup.exe /procdump from the command-line as reverting to a 2021 build provides me zero help in trying to determine what is going wrong as 19516 & 7236 are effectively completely different programs at this point with 7236 no longer able to be supported.

You'll need to clarify the hotkey issue as they may not be anything I can do as your screenshot shows a modern skin & notifications not showing are entirely down to the re-used from 5.666 gen_ff plug-in that implements all of that.

Playback should restart at 0:00 unless you've got enabled one of the options for playback resume (e.g. via preferences -> media library -> history -> bottom section of options) & if you don't need that behaviour it can be disabled & that'll make play always start at 0:00.

Would need clarification on where "The display of Track/Total Tracks" is in relation to within the ui / feature set.

Yes indeed, if I right click with the history disabled, it restart at 0:00) but it would be great to have (as an option) the same behaviour when history is enabled...

Also, I would like to see the track/total tracks information anywhere in the main window, not only on the notifications window when I play next track.

Will try to find time to play again with the latest version and give you more info about the crash when updatind the albumart.

Thanks again ♥♥

Either modify the skin being used (if that can be done & depends on what skin you're using which is often not simple or viable if using a modern skin) or use the option to customise the song ticker ATF text to include that information in what's shown.
