In the times of me attempting to cause this deliberately, there's no way for me to trigger it in any circumstance.
My next guess would be something related to the mouse driver or something else hooking in to the process

Bit of a life update on things: I'm working on v1.4 and have already released two Release Candidates, however as things are, apprenticeship has slowed down my progress on things and as exams are creeping closer and closer, I fear that v1.4 will take just a little longer to get done.
Winamp2000SP4 has gained a co-author, mirzi, who you might know from the fantastic WinampXP (which also deserves a whole lot more attention imo ;)) and he's been an incredible help of figuring out odd issues or fixing them if possible.

The skin also gained a Twitter account where I ramble post about various things and/or show off something I'm working on that'll see the light on the repository (latest additions being the new and improved song timer display and an improved UI for the main window), highly recommend you follow and spread the word.

Other than that, all I can suggest is to try the latest RC or try the latest commits and send feedback my way.

Thank you.

re: the color editor doesn't do anything

To have the color editor do anything, you have to create a new color theme or clone an existing one

Though when you attempt to delete one you created yourself, it will crash WACUP, so you'll have to manually delete it in the respective xml file (found in %APPDATA%\WACUP\Plugins\Freeform\wacs\coloreditor\data\)

Are you using Winamp 5.8 by any chance?

Try updating youtube-dl under the Preferences (somewhere in Diagnostic)

I do not have to click for the ghost seek bar to be there. Wherever my mouse moves over the seek bar, the ghost button appears and moves with my mouse as fluidly as if it were an intended function of the program.

I see a use for it. I just don't want it.

The use is as you play a song, you can locate a certain part by moving your mouse over it during playback and the thost bar remains there (unless you move the mouse over another section).

I just don't want the dang thing.

It might be useful to have a screenrecording of this as I personally have a hard time imagining this

Haha, that's funny 🙃

Maybe I should've been clearer, hovering over it obviously lights it up, it is the ghosting effect that occurs when you grab and drag the seeker to the new position

Still happens with a new studio.xnf file, my guess is that it is intended behavior

Happens when you want to seek to a position

There's no option to disable the secondary ghost seeker, nor am I sure if that's possible within a Modern Skin itself

Are you using a Modern Skin? (i.e. Winamp Modern, Bento or Big Bento Modern)

How'd you fix it?
Might be good for others to know

Hehe, yeah, the comments to both StaticTime() and StaticTimeRemainder() state the reason as to why (some probably wouldn't notice, but it'd clearly bug me, which is why i took the path i went with)

As long as they run with each playback action then I'm happy :)

I will have to admit, this is done better than what my attempt seeks at what it's doing, I will definitely take note of the section in onScriptLoaded that enables the script to be included within the skin.xml file (might as well update my Winamp Modern patch, heh.)
Though, as I was testing and playing some mod files, this happened:

This merely stems from setting the Repeat option in the OpenMPT decoder to either "Once" or "Forever" (as it will always keep the original song's length, for one reason or another dro plz fix), in hindsight there's a lot of cases to cover :)
