1.99.32.21640 (x86) issue when launching: it hangs and crashes

Howdy

Updated to the latest 21640 build yesterday via the in app updater, and now Wacup seems to hang on the winamp playlist editor process and doesn't respond.

Tried updating via downloading the latest public release on the releases page then selected "update existing install" when I ran it and no dice there either.

Should I try just clean installing and see if that works?

Go into the settings folder (usually %appdata%\wacup) & rename the winamp.m3u8 playlist file & if present the winamp.m3u before trying to load again. If that works then compress those file(s) into a zip & send me a pm on here with it as an attachment. Then try dragging or loading the renamed winamp.m3u8 file back into wacup to see if that still fails or not - if it does just repeat the above step. I've got to suspect there's some type of funky playlist entry that's causing issues on parsing such as from a vgm related format until I've got the file & am in a position to be able to look into things (I've not looked at the video yet due to poor internet connection where I currently am so I might already have covered what's shown).

I renamed winamp.m3u8 and winamp.m3u to winampOLD.m3u8 and winampOLD.m3u, no dice same issue

tried moving them out of the folder and same issue still arose

Also tried moving my backup playlist files outta the install location and no dice either

I ended up reinstalling wacup and that seems to have fixed the issue

Then it likely wasn't the playlist & was something else maybe an old 3rd party input plug-in or another type but as you reinstalled that's basically going to have removed whatever was doing it so hopefully it's not a common thing that's causing it to hang on loading as happened for you as there's nothing to triage further now it's working.
