Latest restricted WACUP beta release is build #20202 (September 28th 2024) (x86 & x64 changelogs)

NOTE: Beta testers are added in a limited & subjective manner as I can only support so many people as part of the beta test program to keep it useful for my needs.

Unless I think you're going to be helpful, not all requests will be accepted but might still be later on. Remember that beta testing is to help me & the limitations currently works for my needs for this project.

Filtering words that are within other words
« on: November 24, 2024, 03:13:14 AM »
Can you make a minor tweak to the media library based on this issue.

If I search for ABBA (don't judge me) in my collection, the media library also shows all the Black Sabbath tracks, so I add a space after abba expecting it to cull the results to only files where abba is a word on it's own.
This is not what happens.

Whitespace is stripped before the multi part query is run which is part of the reason for the behaviour.

Quoting "abba" (with or without the space) iirc should do it otherwise I can't remember if there's a fuzzy vs exact search matching option on the local library prefs page. If not it's getting into using the question mark prefixed manual query support to get the results wanted.
