I'm not sure how feasible this is to add, but being able to switch between the basic waveform and a spectrogram would be a useful feature. The most obvious use would be to make skipping through long tracks more intuitive by being able to see where frequencies are strongest; the attachment shows what this feature could look like playing a longer with very dynamic frequencies.
