Editing a playlist entry
« on: January 20, 2026, 02:44:01 PM »
Whenever I finish editing a playlist item in the side view of the Media Library, it jumps to the beginning of the playlist rather than leave me right where I was. It's annoying because it's a long playlist of streaming radio stations (literally hundreds) and I have to scroll back down to find where I left off. Does anyone know of a setting in the preferences that controls this behavior? Thanks.

To confirm this is happening in the child playlist within playlist root view? Also which specific action are you using within the playlist view?

Yes. As mentioned above, it happens after I edit a playlist entry. I right-click on an entry, choose "Playlist entry," make my edit to the title or the link, hit OK, then I'm jumped to the top of the playlist. If I scroll down to the entry I was editing, it's still highlighted. I just don't want to be jumped to the top of the playlist after editing.

Thank you for confirming. I've had a quick look & it seems that a workaround to resolve a WINE related issue when the size of the list contents changes is being incorrectly applied which is causing it to scroll back to the first item of the list. Will look to get that fixed for the next build as it's able to affect any of the list instances be it library playlists or the local library views for example.
