Preview Build Discussion / WACUP Scanning bug

Again i'm not sure exactly when this occurs or what triggers it.

BUT a bunch of times, my Wacup seems to restart the full scanning, and it takes forever and really just ends up hanging. I end up having to crash WACUP and that seems to solve it, but no idea yet the steps that trigger it.

Anyone else with this problem?

Fristly, thank you so much for the update, a few bugs but I'll let you know them in time if they keep recurring.

One request:
Sethe pic attachment.

In the old Wacup, in the Album view you would get the list of albums with the album art as a column option on the left, which was great.

The new options just post albums in a big mess now.

I just wanted to ask if you could please add back the way it was.

Just my preference. I'll def make a donation soon also. I've been a Winamp/Wacup user for 20+ years.

This is a big shocker! I've been a winamp/wacup user now for 20 years, and like many very disappointed about how they left us all in the lurch.

WACUP - lots of respect, and the job you've done I can't speak highly enough of. I admit there are some areas that I hope can be fixed up and improved, but at least yo all put the time in and we respect it. I don't want to be stuck on streamers like Spotify etc.


Will I got back to Winamp? I don't know!

Splitting up the resources on maintaining the setup could be a problem.  We'll all lose out.

If being honest after the last [lost count] years, i've little confidence in Winamp, i'm sorry to say.

Okay, on that basis I'll def stick with WACUP, wish I could help you lot with updating. I'm not a mega programmer (python, SQL, VBA are my specialities).

Or what is the easiest way to backup my WACUP settings & restore if need be?

hi

Firstly thank you all for all the work done, and i've previously made a donation, and will do so again.

i've just downloaded the new Dec Preview build and clicked for the new media library.

However note the "Album Art " is NOT showing, just a green screen.

tried to switch back to old media library but no luck, so i just changed from Album Art to "Album".

Please can you help fix up this bug.

Any help is much appreciated, and keep up al the good work. We very much respect it.

In Winamp there were options in the Library for
1) Refresh
2) Removed deleted/dead links etc

There isn't similar for WACUP? Or is there? Any chance to add this, very useful.

Preview Build Discussion / Podcast restarting where left off option

Hi

Can you please help with this for a future build?

I'm sure that in the old Winamp that when you were listening to a podcast (and some can be 1-2 hours long), that when you stopped it and closed winamp and then reopened and played again, it would remember where you left off and restart from there again.

Any chance to readd this "restart from where left off" option again?

Any help is much appreciated.
