Alas it's already known about (oddly it came up about a month ago on discord) as it's a placeholder text within the skin that until playback has been attempted it's not updated with the actual information for the current file. It's more a modern skin engine issue though we'd not come up with a decision on how best to deal with it - either hide the information line until playback starts or change the placeholder text used but then that would still likely to be reported as not being correct.

How about using an ellipsis (i.e. ...) as the placeholder text until playback starts?

An ellipse is often meant to imply an action will follow or that there's clipped data so probably not the best of options. It had been mentioned to either leave it blank or have it as a dash or set it to a more reasonable kbps so it doesn't seem as odd when it is noticed.

Even an infinite symbol had been mentioned as an option but there wasn't a consensus on the best approach so nothing has been done about it as it's either modify one xml file or do some additional skin scripting for the overall better just hide it until it's valid approach.

That is what I was going for. Once playback starts (i.e. the action that follows) the ellipse would be replaced with the correct value. Anyway, it was just a thought.
