Windowshade mode doesn't keep docked windows together
« on: November 01, 2025, 11:23:40 AM »
I've discovered that docked windows aren't keep together when the windowshade mode is toggled.
In the original window distribution (main windows-equalizer-playlist), when you enable windowshade mode for the equalizer, the playlist editor is detached from the others.

It's even worse when you have the three items shrinked and docked on the taskbar. When you disable the windowshade mode for any of them they expand downwards, and the content remains beyond the screen, instead of the desired result: still docked on the taskbar and the other windows pushed upwards.

WACUP isn't Winamp so there can & will differences in behaviour such as how the windows are implemented & especially with how docking works for the classic skins windows as it's not something I've actively looked into trying to replicate. I'm going to move this to the wishlist sub-forum but I don't have any guaranteed plans on when I may consider looking into it nor that I'll end up making any changes to current implementation.
