NOTE: Beta testers are added in a limited & subjective manner as I can only support so many people as part of the beta test program to keep it useful for my needs.

Unless I think you're going to be helpful, not all requests will be accepted but might still be later on. Remember that beta testing is to help me & the limitations currently works for my needs for this project.

hi

for this latest & the last Beta build (32 bit), i've tried to install it but it won't load up and no Crash Reports being generated.

Get's stuck at this point when I load up: see screenshot

I think it might be as i use cpro skins.

any help much appreciated, i'll have to downgrade back to older versions: WACUP_Preview_v1_99_22_20202_x86.exe

Please let me know how i can send you more info to give you more info to help

I'll try to have a play about tonight to see if i can fix it myself.

i am using multi-vis, specifically staying on x86 for it. if i turn off multi-vis and the other two, then only the analyzer autostarts. with it and all three on, the other two starts but the analyzer does not. i tried it on a separate computer and the analyzer would not autostart either way. would providing a copy of my portable install be of help any?

Seems to have cleared up in the 3/9 release.  Thanks so much for continuing to work on this project.  There is definitely no other player more capable of handling a large MP3 collection like this.

It's an age old issue with the re-used gen_ff (modern skins engine) plug-in & it's been on my todo list for an age to get around to trying to figure out what that plug-in is doing & if there's anything I can do to try to patch out what it's using to figure out window placement though I think I'm at the point where that time would be better spent on just making the replacement plug-in instead of putting more time into something that needs to be removed from being used by wacup. As such I don't have a solution or workaround for your issue, sorry.

I use https://github.com/massej/RadioHLSConverter.backend.serverless as a proxy.

Basically it convert the m3u8 (HLS radio stream) to the basic http streams and allow WACUP to work with the new radio format while keeping the audio quality!

Hi,


I'm using WACUP 1.99.27.21136 [Mar 9 2025] @ Windows 11 Pro 10.0.26100.3323 64 bits.

I have an issue with WACUP  - Toolbar Docking, I want to set the WACUP on my 3rd top right screen. Instead of going up like it was supposed, it is going in the middle.

If I lower the resolution to 1920x1080 on the 3 screen everything works, it seems that there is a bug with high resolution monitor and the docking.


Here are my screens resolution :
1st screen : 3840x2160x144hz
2nd screen : 2560x1440x75hz​
3rd screen : 2560x1440x75hz

You can see that it is docking right in the middle of the screen :




In green I have added where I want WACUP to be dock

The bug is also there in the original winamp 5.666 Build 3516 and Winamp 5.9.2 [Apr 26 2023].
