Latest restricted WACUP beta release is build #18654 (March 24th 2024) (x86 & x64 changelogs) | Latest WACUP public preview is build #17040 (September 30th 2023) (x86 only)

NOTE: Beta testers are added in a limited & subjective manner as I can only support so many people as part of the beta test program to keep it useful for my needs.

Unless I think you're going to be helpful, not all requests will be accepted but might still be later on. Remember that beta testing is to help me & the limitations currently works for my needs for this project.

Streaming podcasts without having to download them

It would be great to be able to stream podcast episodes from your list of subscribed podcasts without having to download the episode.

Additionally, it would be great if this streaming feature were compatible with your custom playlists. In other words, you go to your list of podcasts you're subscribed to, you select episode x, you right click -> send to -> your custom "podcasts" playlist and then you can also stream the podcast from that custom playlist, again without having to download.

This is so you can create a playlist of individual episodes of different podcasts.

That does actually work but only for http:// streams & not https:// streams (as a lot of podcasts have gone towards). Until I replace the Winamp provided plug-in responsible for doing most of the streaming (in_mp3) then these issues are going to persist as it's down to that plug-in not being able to correctly cope with https:// streams - the rest of the player is otherwise fine with them & will already do as you want for custom playlists (it's the actual playback that's the problem).

Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. Well, here's my vote for putting that issue high on the priority list.
