i am using multi-vis, specifically staying on x86 for it. if i turn off multi-vis and the other two, then only the analyzer autostarts. with it and all three on, the other two starts but the analyzer does not. i tried it on a separate computer and the analyzer would not autostart either way. would providing a copy of my portable install be of help any?

restarted the pc, no difference (although i agree restarting can sometimes have "miracle cure" results.)
in advanced>portable mode, the "os registry" is not checked, and "3rd party" is.
what i am counting as the built in vis is "classic spectrum analyzer v2.1.15". in 7236 and 19516 this, if open when wacup closes, would automatically open on startup, now in 21102 it does not. i am calling morphyre as 3rd. i had been calling milkdrop as 3rd, but i now see that it has the proper icon, so i guess it counts as built in? immediately after updating, none of the three would autostart, i have not changed any settings, and now morphyre and milkdrop does auto start, but the analyzer must be manually started.
any questions, please ask!

See if you have any of these checked:i checked and it is as you have, with the middle of three checked.

funny enough, now on this startup, the two third party plugins auto started, but the built in one did not, strange. if it matters, i updated build 7236 to build 21102, in portable mode, skipping the updates in between.

downloaded and installed x86 build #21102, and so far it seems completely stable. however, when i close and restart WaCup, the player starts with the visualizations closed (including built in) and i have to manually start them. is this intentional?

as for the skin, i just use the basic classic skin, as i personally find its legibility to be better then the others. as for multi-vis, that is how i run it without issue in 7236. the option to run multiple vis plugins simultaneously is awesome! definitely staying on x86 builds specifically for that alone lol. i should have also noted that i haven't specifically tried it with the versions between 7236 and 20202, but will if requested as i have a few installers saved.
edit; works as multi in WACUP_Preview_v1_99_16_19516, so its just the latest preview that it fails in. edit-edit; now its failing in 19516, so i don't know what is happening
edit3; WaCup is complaining about dlls that are present, and just sent a crash report from 19516, so hopefully that sheds some light on something. again, in your own time, i'm just adding info here to keep it in one place.

hello everybody!
first off, big thanks to Dr.O, amazing work!
however, i am having issues with a _3rd_party_ visualisation plug in, _not_ a built in one.
how to replicate;
install JavaRE 32bit, at least 7u151
install winamp v2; yes i know its not WaCup, but its needed for further steps.
download Morphyre Personal at https://www.morphyre.com/Download note its _not_ the Pro version.
when installing MP, make sure the winamp plugin is checked.
once installed, you can run MP through either the start menu or through winamp2
in winamp2, copy vis_Morphyre.dll into WaCup\Plugins
in WaCup, try to run Morphyre.
