Latest restricted WACUP beta release is build #18980 (April 24th 2024) (x86 & x64 changelogs) | Latest WACUP public preview is build #18980 (April 24th 2024) (x86 only)

NOTE: Beta testers are added in a limited & subjective manner as I can only support so many people as part of the beta test program to keep it useful for my needs.

Unless I think you're going to be helpful, not all requests will be accepted but might still be later on. Remember that beta testing is to help me & the limitations currently works for my needs for this project.

Version 0.83
Main changes:
I optimized all active objects, and now the performance of the skin allows you to place a block with mini components back under the playlist, the problem with the lower right corner is still relevant.

Coverflow:
-now the album art of the albums that are present in the coverflow and reproduced in the timelist disappear first, moving to the center.
- added the ability to change animation speed from 0.3 to 0.6
-some bugs fixed. Perhaps added new ones.

I don't have a 4K monitor yet (still using 1920 x 1080), so I down-scaled it to 50%. So far, it is performing as well as the other modern skins I'm using. I'll provide some specifics after I play with it for awhile.

I also don’t have a 4K monitor yet, but if I get one, I’ll already have a skin for it) Moreover, the scaling works better than expected, I recently launched a skin for 1366x768 with a scaling of 40%, it works quite stable.

Completed Volume (I took the idea from one of the Ariszlo skins) and Coverflow scripts.

Since I took the Big Bento skin as a basis, I don’t see any point in posting the rest of the skippts, they either haven’t changed yet or require improvement.

But one way or another, if you use it or just test it, then I would like to know with what scaling and what resolution, whether everything works correctly and stably, perhaps you will have ideas and wishes.

And one more request. Since my English is not that good, I need help naming terms and texts. If you think that some description or text is incorrect or not logical, or there is a better version, then please let me know.
This will help a lot in the future. I think that if there are a lot of negative reviews about performance, then most likely I will make a small version that will run natively on FullHD.

Now about the sad stuff. I don’t yet know when I will be able to continue actively developing the skin, I had several free weeks which, unfortunately, was not enough for me to finish the skin, during which time I only came to understand what the skin should be.
And serious changes are planned in my life, perhaps not for the better. Therefore, if everything goes really badly, I will post all the sources and developments that I created, and perhaps someone using them will continue to create this skin.

Hi all. New skin. Yukon.
I wanted to create a modern skin that would look organically in the Windows 11 interface and at the same time support 4K resolution to help Winamp live a little longer.

This is still a beta version 0.80
_________________
Relatively finished:
- Player window.
(Although we need to add the possibility of classic sliders for volume and seek, for those who don’t like knob. We also need to add more display screen options.)

- Coverflow.
___________________
What else remains to be done:
"Mini-component" That's what I call those places where Coverflow and Big Clock are located.

- Playback tab in which there will be:
seek slider, track or playlist repeat switching, menu, classic volume slider, AB repeat block. There may also be a timer, shutdown.

- File info tab with detailed information about the track, similar to the one in the Big Bento Modern skin.

- Add a version of waveform seeker and Big Clock to Wacup.

- Compact mode.

- maximize.maki, pledit.maki and other component management scripts need to be replaced with one large script. Everything must work quickly and smoothly so that variability in the position of components can be created.

- Windowshade mod
_______________
Optimization:
Since scaling a skin is a very resource-intensive process, optimization plays a very important role. Since there will be many elements that will not be displayed until they are active, they must be stopped, for example texts that show the time or other random data.
You can create a setting that limits the number of illuminated buttons, for example up to 5 illuminated buttons at a time.

Rebuild SUICORE.maki, for example, now Big Bento cannot switch visualization windows on the fly; in order to change a window, you usually need to start the visualizations again after the change. There are quite a lot of such moments.

In general, there is a lot to do!)

Yes, this is a bug in the skin, but I warned you that this is a test version and there will be errors in it. If I think to enable a timer that everyone has subsequently enabled that needs to be displayed, then this will fix the error in the line input editor.

Although this is not the biggest problem.
In fact, the more I try to improve this fiddle, the more errors I encounter. Now it seems to me that it is not possible to achieve stable and smooth operation of the script, since there will be two usage containers, one for the company and the second for the shadows. It's a pity that the Desktopalpha="1" parameter does not work with components.

I think it would be easier to create a skin using <Wasabi:Frame> so that you can change the position of the windows relative to another friend.

In fact, I myself like version 1.6 better. :D
It's just that in version 2 I was too focused on neatness and style

Due to the fact that I do not use the equalizer from the winamp, I keep forgetting that I need to do my own window for it. I always had the idea to move all functions like balance, x-fade and others to the equalizer window. But I understand that it will take a lot of time, which I do not have yet.

Here is a new version in which I improved the animation and added several types of speakers. Now the speaker membranes are more sensitive, and you can see how they move. But I am still working on them.

Hi Denis,

Interesting changes in version 2.0. I can't get the animated speakers to work. Is there an option somewhere that needs to be enabled?

I think they work. They have little diffuser travel and only respond to low frequencies. But yes, I'll probably make a second mode, which will be more visual.

...

Moved design to Izotope Ozone plugin. Replaced only textures and colors. Plugin not cracked.

I'm very excited that you're working on bringing Izotope Ozone back. I used it back in the 1990s until the free version was dropped. It took me awhile to find a suitable replacement. I'm now using the free version of Stereo Tool.
Thanks for telling me about the Stereo Tool, this is a really great plugin, although at first it seemed difficult to me due to the large number of settings.

Thank you Denis for adding the notification panel. It works very well.

I would like you to consider adding 2 more capabilities.

1. An x-offset adjustment and y-offset adjustment to allow for adjusting the default positions of the panel.

2. 3 variable time adjustments for the seconds taken to fade in, hold, and fade out the panel.
And for what purposes do you need to change the indentation of the notification? I ask in order to know within what limits to make the "tuning sliders".
